One of Finland’s largest laboratory companies, Fimlab, comissioned a new animation from me that present how their information systems work. It was presented at their yearly company event, like the previous animation. The animation’s idea was to simplify the complex system of different information sources, servers and APIs and Information-based leadership to an easily understandable format that could be condensed into a 2-minute video clip. The client wanted the animation to be designed and composed in the same style for consistency.

Joonas Mykkänen sai nopeasti ideastamme kiinni ja jalosti siitä luovalla ja jämäkällä otteella toimivan kokonaisuuden. Asiakkaana meillä oli kokoajan tiedossa, mitkä linjat pitää olla selvillä projektin alkupuolella ja mihin voimme vaikuttaa ihan loppumetreille. Aikataulu piti. Animaatiota käytämme raportointikoulutuksissa.”

An animation for Fimlab, one of Finland’s leading laboratory companies, that illustrates how their billing systems work. The idea was to present the pretty complicated processes of referrals, laboratory tests and billing at Fimlab in a simple way in a short time.

An animation for the Tampere Tramway Alliance that shows how the tramway for Hämeenkatu was built. The illustrations are based on a technical drawing/presentation that show the building phases of the tramway on Hämeenkatu, and the best way to summarize these elements was a short animation.
