A small “Snake”-esque game we made that teaches letter recognition by listening and reading. The player chooses the letter they want to practice and controls the snake with a simple two-button UI. The speed of the game increases constantly and at some point it gets quite challenging.

A gamified timer application to teach the understanding of time management. The design idea of the applicaton is based around the idea that the gamified elements don’t interefere with the basic use of the timer functionality. Not yet released.

A game we made for the Tampere Tramway Alliance’s christmas calendar campaign. We were tasked with designing and delivering a small game with one game mechanic as a promotional thing. The 2-button control layout, the increasing difficulty and speed and the “just one more try” mentality support this principle.

A game based on a book by speech therapist Seija Gauffin, the purpose of which is to teach to recognize rhyme pairs. In the project we implement the basic idea of recognizing rhyme pairs into different kinds of simple minigames.

A fast-paced voice-controlled side-scrolling game where you direct an alien ship trying to collect crystals and dodge asteroids, designed for speech therapy use.

My task was to design the idea for a game that uses voice control for a small game. The game’s controls work by using the device’s microphone to listen to sound pitch: making a high pitched noise makes the ship go up, and making a low pitched noise makes the ship go down, while the game progresses horizontally by itself.
